PANIONS Supervisory Board meets to guide project implementation

On 2 June 2026, the PANIONS Supervisory Board (SB) held its first online meeting, bringing together representatives from the project’s beneficiary organisations and associated partners to review progress and discuss the next steps in implementing the network. The agenda covered recruitment, communication and outreach, doctoral candidate secondments, preparations for the first network workshop, and planning for the project’s upcoming Mid-Term Meeting.

As the main decision-making body of the PANIONS Doctoral Network, the Supervisory Board oversees the project’s scientific, training and management activities. The board is responsible for monitoring project implementation, supporting the recruitment and supervision of doctoral candidates, and ensuring that the network’s research and training objectives are successfully delivered. It brings together representatives from all beneficiaries and associated partners, ensuring that both academic and non-academic perspectives contribute to the project’s strategic direction.

During the meeting, partners exchanged updates on ongoing activities, discussed upcoming milestones and coordinated the next phases of the project. Regular Supervisory Board meetings play an important role in maintaining close collaboration across the consortium and ensuring that PANIONS continues to deliver high-quality research and doctoral training.
